COVID-19 Care Packages for T:buc Camps participants One of the key things we learnt during the first lockdown was how important it is to reach out to young people who are stuck at home or self-isolating. This outreach can take many forms, including dropping off essential supplies and treats to young people and their families. During the first lockdown, delivering these care packages to our participants gave us an opportunity to catch up face-to-face - albeit at a distance - with young people and find out what extra support they might need. This week, as Northern Ireland has entered a second 'circuit breaker' lockdown, we have been out and about delivering care packages again. In Derry-Londonderry in particular, we were dropping supplies off with young people taking part in our current T:buc Camps programme, some of whom are also previous participants with Peace Bytes. Out and about in the North West yesterday, delivering care packages to participants in our TBUC Camps Programme groups.... Posted by The Bytes Project on Thursday, 22 October 2020 It was great to catch up, check in and make sure everyone had what they needed. We'll be trying to reach out to all of our groups in similar ways until we're able to meet up in person again.
