The Bytes Project is delighted to announce the appointment of Charlene Moleiro as Interim Chief Executive, effective in due course.
The Bytes Board has agreed to appoint an interim CEO to lead the organisation across our youth hubs throughout Northern Ireland. Charlene will drive Bytes’ strategic direction, building on our role as one of the region’s largest voluntary youth services.
Charlene brings more than 20 years’ experience working with children and young people, including 12 years within the community and voluntary sector and at Bytes. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, she has helped drive the organisation’s strategic development and growth, supporting young people and communities across Northern Ireland.
Stephen Dallas, outgoing CEO, will remain in post until November to support the transition and ensure a smooth leadership handover.

Charlene said, “Having been part of the Bytes Senior Leadership Team for several years, I am proud to step into this role at an important time for the organisation. My focus will be on providing continuity and stability as we build on the strong foundations already in place. I look forward to working alongside our staff, partners, funders, and Board to ensure we continue delivering high-quality opportunities and support for young people and communities across Northern Ireland.”
