Celebrating Exodus 500

exodus

Earlier today (25th January 2019), Bytes gathered with partners and community leaders at the Ormeau Baths, Belfast, to celebrate the successful completion of the Exodus 500 programme.

Over 80 guests from the third sector, government agencies and private businesses, along with a range of former Exodus participants, were the first to see a series of new short films about Exodus 500. Filmed with several former participants, as well as two of our current groups included one in Woodland JJC, these allowed young people to share their experiences and talk candidly about what Exodus meant for them, in a safe, pressure free environment.

The event also included several speakers, including from Youth Justice, the Education Authority and a range of Bytes staff.

This was an opportunity for our partners to share their experiences of Exodus 500 and staff to talk about some of the upcoming new projects we have in the works for 2019. You can view the short films shown today below, or on our YouTube channel.
