Where We Are
Foundation for Reconciliation
The Bytes Project has received PEACE III funding from SEUPB under
- Priority 1: Reconciling Communities
- Theme 1.2: Acknowledging and Dealing with the Past
- Strand 2: Support for Participation
to deliver our Foundation for Reconciliation project.
This project will provide Essential Skills training on a drop-in; cross community basis to disadvantaged 'hard to reach' young people aged 15 – 25; who are pre-training & employment with complex barriers to participation and suffering from labour mobility due to problems related to sectarianism, racism and conflict.
To assist the transition to training, Further Education or work, is a complicated issue of personal, social development and educational needs. This project will blend the issue based work such as conflict management, good relations & anti-social behaviour with Essential Skills training improving life opportunity and skills.
