What is Citizenship

This project involved a total of 22 young people working on a 10- week citizenship project delivered on a cross-community basis. 10 young people came from the Sunnylands area of Carrickfergus and 12 from the Newlodge area of Belfast. 21 of the 22 young people participating successfully achieved an OCN Level I Understanding Aspects of Citizenship. Much preparatory work had to be completed before the cross community workshops and activities took place, however it paved the way for additional cross community work to take place within the local Bytes centres.
