SID and Cultural Diversity

This 6 week project covered issues around globalisation, gender and racism. Newlodge Bytes hosted a group from Derry Bytes, taking them on a bus tour around the Belfast city before going for a meal and paintballing.
Stepping Into Diversity (SID) was delivered by Jim and Zand from Tides. The aim of the project was to allow young people to see the world through lenses to enable that we watched a few video clips, had group discussions on the topics listed and looked at the migration of Irish people through history and this gave us a better understanding of how our society has now become more diverse.
