OCN Level 1 Understanding Young People Law and Order Lisburn Simon Community

The Belfast Foyer team have been providing an outreach service in Lisburn Simon Community from September 2009. The group that are currently engaging with Bytes staff have got a lot of multiple issues and all of them are involved with either the youth justice system and/or probation having committed a variety of crimes. This programme is hoping to meet the needs of the young people by creating a safe environment whereby group work activities and discussions can be employed to help to challenge the life choices of these young people. The project will look at the impact and consequences of crime for all those involved with particular reference to the Northern Ireland Justice System. This programme is on-going and it is anticipated that it will be completed in April 2009
