'Choose Life' Film Made by Young People in Polegass in conjunction with Cinemagic.

Young People from across the province went to City Hall on Friday 2nd of December to celebrate young film making talent in conjunction with Cinemagic. Young people from Poleglass scripted, produced and edited their own film highlighting the issues for young people.  The young people also had their film shown in a local cinema on the 30th November were their friends and family could see all their hard work on the big screen.  One young person was invited to be interviewed with UTV.  Northern Ireland's First Minister Peter Robinson was also at the Gala Awards ceremony and said he sees the creative industries as an important part of the local economy. Mr Robinson also had an important message for the young people who had taken part in the Cinemagic festival  "Follow your dreams". "Young people have dreams," he said."I think the opportunities are here in a way that they have never been before for young people to follow those dreams."  See gallery for more images.
