Reg Empey Visit

On Thursday 3 April 2008, New Lodge Bytes hosted a visit from the Department for Employment and Learning's Minister Sir Reg Empey.
The Minister was carrying out a series of visits to the various organisations that DEL provide funding for, and he was accompanied by a photographer and journalist from the Belfast Telegraph who were writing an article on the "Day of a Life of a Minister".
Sir Reg Empey spoke to young people who attend the Newlodge Bytes Centre and asked them about the project work that they carried out in Bytes and the reasons why they use the centre. He was very interested in the young people's folders and the recent project work that they had undertaken.
