Children in Need Panel Discussion

This year the Children in Need Appeal coincided with the 20th anniversary of the signing of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Invited by the BBC, Bytes set along three of their finest to represent young people’s views at a panel discussion hosted by William Crawley. Mark McMullan, Sean Gorman and Clif Oakes took part and through spokesperson Sean, several issues were raised including how young people are portrayed in the media. It was felt afterwards that the session was a good platform for young people’s voices to be heard and you never know, perhaps interest in a career in the media was sparked!
