The Bytes Project will provide opportunities in an informal setting for young people to accelerate their own personal development through the creative and enjoyable use of technology.
The Bytes Project will encourage and support those young people who, by their social environment or personal experience, face obstacles to personal development.
The Bytes Project will assist young people to achieve their full potential, through progression to further education, purposeful training or the world of work.

Young people today face a multiplicity of pressures in their daily lives. These can range from problems in relationships, finding work or training, difficulties in communicating with their family, pressure from peers to take drugs, feeling down or depressed, coping with health difficulties, feeling stressed, in debt etc. Often young people feel isolated when trying to solve and deal with these problems and pressures. These organizations should be you first stop for advice on setting up and running your own business.

Each of these organizations give advice and help on setting up and running your own business, how and where to apply for start up grants and how to put together a business plan and assistance in the running and sustaining your business successfully.
Careers and Training. Kick-starting your career may seem a difficult task after you leave school or finding yourself unemployed and not in training, but don't worry, plenty of help is at hand if you know where to start.
The Training and Employment Agency and your local Jobcentre should be the first place to visit. Making an appointment with a careers officer is the best way to get things going and he or she will help you find out about the work your interested in. You'll learn about all options available to you.
If you attend any of the Bytes Projects your centre's Development Officer can guide you in the right direction and set things up for you. It couldn't be easier......you just take the first step.
