The Bytes Project for Clonmany

The Bytes Cross-Border Project   between the Bytes Project and Youth in Inishowen will hold a recruiting and information night in the Community Centre, Clonmany on Monday, 23rd August 2005 at 6.30pm. The Project is a computer based project with OCR qualification a “No pressure” programme giving young adults between 16- 25 an opportunity to sample a wide range of activities and skills. The programme will include website design, E mail and Internet, personal development, sexual identity, peace and reconciliation and a range of outdoor activities, ie paintballing and go-Karting.

The project is designed to bring young people from both Derry and Donegal together and the project will take place in both areas. The sessions in Inishowen will take place in Community Centre Clonmany and the Derry sessions in the Derry Bytes Centre, The Strand Foyer, Strand Road. To qualify, participants must be unemployed, have left school and not in any formal full time training. The project will take place one evening and one afternoon each week for 17 weeks. It is open to any youth who fill the criteria living in the Inishowen area.
